借助于中国航展展出最先进的航空航天产品、著名的品牌和丰富的资源，本届航展特别设立《国际航空航天模型展区》，这是当今世界上唯一的航空航天产品与航空航天模型同场展出的展会。无论是对航模生产业者，还是航模爱好者和购买者以及广大观众，都是难得一遇的机会。

二年一届的中国航展不仅吸引了来自世界近30个国家和地区的生产供应商，也吸引了世界各地的买家。8万专业观众，20几万的社会观众，是任何一个专业展会所无法相比的。
以“神6”为代表的最先进的航空、航天器，与品质众多的航模同时展出，特别是精彩的飞行表演，形成了真实与模拟的互动。通过各种媒体，让全世界关注中国航展盛况的近20亿人了解中国。

The first time to set up specially the international exhibition area for model aerospace. Each of the real aircraft and models has its strong points.

Drawing support from the advanced aerospace products display at the Airshow China 2006 and its famous brand and rich resources, we specially set up the International Exhibition Area for Model Aerospace. This is the sole exhibition in the world to display aerospace products and models simultaneously nowadays. It is a rare chance for manufacturers, enthusiasts and purchasers for model aerospace and vast numbers of visitors.

Alongside the developing in depth of bringing forth new ideas independently, the innovation of materials and the technological advances, China’s model aerospace industry has expanded by leaps and bounds in recent years. China has become one of the big manufacturing countries for model aerospace in the world. During Airshow China 2006, the model aerospace exhibition will on the one hand show the levels of China’s model aerospace industry to the world, and will make technical interchange face to face with figures of aerospace circles coming from different countries of the world and model aerospace lovers on the other hand, so as to propel China’s model aerospace industry forward.

Airshow China (held every other year) not only attracts manufacturing suppliers coming from over 30 countries and regions in the world, but also attracts purchasers from different countries. Airshow China attracts about 80 thousand trade visitors and over 200 thousand public visitors every session. Other professional exhibitions in China are incomparable with it.

The most advanced air vehicle and spacecraft represented by “Shenzhou-6 space flight” and many other model aerospace will be on display simultaneously. The brilliant demonstration flight and the products and models display will add to each other’s splendor. Through different news media, nearly 20 hundred million people in the world will find out the grand occasion of Airshow China.
